Rapid digital technological advancements require proactive adaptation from various sectors. Answering this challenge, the International Creative Exchange (ICE) has once again demonstrated its commitment to bridging technology education by hosting an introductory seminar on Artificial Intelligence (AI). The event was successfully held at the Barista Hall of the Regional Job Training Center (PPKD) in East Jakarta on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.

Carrying the overarching theme “The Importance of AI for Indonesia’s Future”, the seminar highlighted the growing urgency of AI adoption across various aspects of life. This is particularly crucial in the business sector, where digital innovation is no longer merely an option, but a necessity to maintain competitiveness in the modern era.

Participant Enthusiasm and Synergy with PPKD East Jakarta

The seminar was attended by 50 participants from diverse professional backgrounds. The series of sessions proved highly effective in raising participants’ awareness of AI’s critical role, both in boosting workplace productivity and streamlining daily operations.

Witnessing this high level of enthusiasm, Teguh Hendrawan, Head of PPKD East Jakarta and the event’s host, announced a strategic plan moving forward. He stated that a new curriculum integrating AI education will be developed soon. This step is a rapid response to the surging job market demand for tech-savvy human resources.

ICE’s Exclusive Collaboration with a Global Network of Experts

As the main initiator of the event, ICE Chairman Atta Ul Karim specifically invited AI experts from the United States. In his opening remarks, he emphasized that ICE currently has access to an exclusive network featuring an international community of certified AI trainers. This extensive network includes experts from various countries, including the U.S., the U.K., India, and Malaysia.

Furthermore, Atta Ul Karim shared his experiences representing Indonesia in several global AI training forums, further solidifying ICE’s position as an international-standard educational platform.

Shifting Misconceptions: AI as an Assistant, Not a Threat

The presentation sessions provided insights that broke the participants’ old paradigms. Bharani Kumar, Head of the International AI Trainers Community, offered a broader perspective on this smart technology. He stressed that AI’s utility goes far beyond text-based interaction programs like ChatGPT or Gemini. Proper understanding and utilization of AI can significantly ease human workloads in various complex industrial sectors.

This perspective was reinforced by Prof. Dr. Selvaraj, Advisor at 360DigiTMG. He specifically addressed and clarified common misconceptions that often cause public concern.

“AI is not meant to replace human workers, but rather to serve as a smart assistant that enables people to achieve much larger and more efficient targets.”

He encouraged the public not to fear AI, but rather to begin adapting and preparing for its increasingly integral presence in our daily routines.

MoU Signing and Future Vision

As a constructive conclusion to the event, ICE and the international AI trainers community officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This signing serves as a strong foundation to continuously support the development and equitable distribution of AI education in Indonesia.

Looking ahead, ICE has planned similar educational agendas to be held across various regions. We are committed to ensuring that awareness and education regarding artificial intelligence technology can reach all layers of society, even in the most remote areas of the country.
